Introduction to Moulding
Saturday, July 21, 2018

Molding has several uses, from decorative to transitional - it is often even used to hide defects! This
course will explain what molding is, how it is used and in what situations and the different molding profiles.
It's not just for houses - it can also be used for picture frames, to accent/enhance boxes, even as bracket
feet! You will learn different ways moulding can be made, by hand and power, and the practical application
of molding with instruction on how to cut, cope and fit molding with the use of shooting boards and mitre
boxes. Ron will then provide you a hands-on session on how to cut, fit and apply molding to a project
base/box, with inner and outer applications.
