Fastening wood didn't start with glues and nails - it began with joinery, the physical means of fastening
pieces of wood together. You will start with the most basic of joints and work your way up to complex
tenoning, representing the bulk of the joints that are found in furniture making. Your work is yours to take
home and keep as a learning aid or reference.
Some of the joints you will learn are: half-lap, mortise and tenon, bridle, dowel, mitered butt and pocket-
hole. Materials are included in the class fee.
8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Classes include lunch, drinks and snacks. Please let us know if you have special dietary requirements.
Deadline for Registration: 6:00 PM Monday, Oct. 8.
Deadline for Cancellation: 6:00 PM Wednesday, Oct. 10. Any cancellation after this deadline will
forfeit a $50 administrative fee.
Classes may be cancelled with full refund of fees if class minimum of four students is not met by
